Honeymoon is officially over as of today.

Sam started back to work this morning and I started figuring out a new life with a new routine! I went and worked out at the Curves in Benbrook for the first time, changing my membership from OK to TX, met new people, etc. The owners are an older Christian couple actually! I love them already! :) They go to a Baptist church here and the man is the music pastor and she is the pianist! Needless to say I had a great time talking to her. Today went by EXTREMELY fast! Blink....and it is GONE!

Now I am waiting on Superman Sam to get home from work already and dinner is in the oven! :) Yea, I am having fun I'll admit! :D I am!

So, this is what Sam was looking like yesterday and today he is getting pretty much completely scabbed over which means he is healing up! Today he felt great other than the itching and his spirits were high until he would look in the mirror and then you would hear this strange groaning whaling sound! :D Not that I at ALL blame him! :) He keeps saying crazy things like how can you look at me! Does my breath stink? Where are the breath mints! I look awful. etc... :) Fun times we be having I guess! :)

Well, he was TRYING to hide his looks.

Well, his fever is gone at least. He just doesn't have an appetite so he is loosing weight, NOT something that Samuel Shepherd needs to do at all, as you should know if you know him! :D So I am doing my best to stuff down some protein and vitamin C at least! :)

He didn't sleep but barely a wink last night. They have starting inching like crazy and his body still aches. It hurts to lay any way you try, sitting is uncomfortable, even standing hurts some since he ACTUALLY has some on the bottom of his feet!!! He has them in his throat and mouth too which doesn't make the whole foo issue any easier either. So as you can imagine life around here as been interesting. We're both trying very hard as of today to keep up our good attitude. Well, our plans for this whole last week together before he goes back to work and life gets a schedule have been flushed bye bye for sure and we are a little disappointed about that but I guess God has some good reason for all this!
