So, since I last posted much has happened already it seems. Married life keeps you on your toes that is for sure. Especially on your toes with your relationship with God!!
We lost our electricity due to that really bad storm we had the middle of last week. We were only out for a little over two days but it seemed like living in a whole new world without it! You can't do anything literally! No lights, no clocks, no fridge, no cooking at all, no curling iron to get dressed up for anything :), no anything it seemed! It was fun for a while but let me tell you when the lights came back on I was hooping and hollering! :)
Last Saturday Sam and I killed ourselves working in the yard. The people that were here before us were certainly NOT yard people. So much dead stuff! We even uprooted a tree with our hands and body weight! :)

I took before pics and once I get some things looking really nice the way I want them I post before and after pics! :D I am gonna make the back yard my country haven in this noisy train filled city! :D lol Needless to say after spending all day using hand shears, hand saws, and hand shears to trim shrubs, bushes, and tree limbs I am STILL sore and it has been two days!

Sunday we went to a church that I had heard about from a lady I work out with. A small church of maybe 100 people or so and we were SO welcome there! So made to fill like at home. It was a very relaxed church, one of those that makes everyone fill welcome. You could tell there wasn't any judging about where a person was at in the Lord. The sermon was awesome! The music was a little shaky and fresh on its feet you could tell....lets just say not too many great singers but that doesn't matter to God right! :) We even got invited by a couple who got married last June to go eat with them afterwards! :) So, we felt much better about trying to find a church after that visit but.......guys, I am so so homesick for you all! My church family! My church office work! All you people who made so much of my life the way it is now!
Please do pray for us. Especially me! :) LOL After this weekend I have been having a really hard time with life....living in a city, trying to fit into a new group of people, finding my groove here, waiting on God to show me what is next.....it is scary sometimes when I wake up and it hits me a new day in Fort Worth, Texas! What on earth am I doing here! :D :D *grins*
I am so grateful that God never leaves us. Oh good Lord, where on earth would I be if He did!!!
